About the Project
Academic projectThe goal of this project was to make the budget of the city of Loos-en-Gohelle perfectly readable and accessible for its inhabitants, through the design of a double page for the municipal magazine. To transform these often complex financial data into a visual and intuitive reading, I used the actual maps of the town to trace graphic paths guiding the eye towards the different spending areas. To further facilitate understanding, I reduced the entire budget to a base 100 and linked these figures to concrete examples of local projects. The challenge was to create a clear data visualization, rooted in the territory and meaningful for all citizens.
